Happy Birthday Video Maker

Privacy Policy

Your privacy matters. This policy explains how information may be collected, used, and protected when you use our application.

Effective Date: 01 April 2026

This Privacy Policy applies to the Happy Birthday Video Maker mobile application (the “Application”), developed and published by DK Software Solution (the “Service Provider”). The Application is provided as an ad-supported service and is offered on an “AS IS” basis.

1. Information Collection and Use

Depending on how you use the Application and which features are enabled, certain information may be collected automatically, including:

  • Your device’s Internet Protocol (IP) address.
  • Application screens or features used and the dates and times of use.
  • Time spent using the Application and related interaction information.
  • Device type, operating system, application version, and technical identifiers.
  • Diagnostic information, including crash reports and performance data, where supported.

The Application does not collect precise location data from your mobile device.

Information may be used to operate and maintain the Application, improve performance, diagnose technical problems, understand usage, provide support, and communicate important service-related information.

If a feature asks you to provide personal information, such as your name or email address, that information will be used for the purpose explained when it is requested. Do not provide personal information unless it is necessary for the feature you are using.

Photos, videos, and audio files that you select may be processed to provide the Application’s birthday video creation and editing features. The handling of these files depends on the feature used and the device permissions granted.

2. Permissions and Media Files

The Application may request access to photos, videos, audio files, or other media stored on your device so you can create birthday videos. You can manage these permissions through your device settings.

Grant only the permissions needed for the features you want to use. If media files are uploaded to a server or processed by a third-party service, the relevant feature should explain that handling separately.

3. Third-Party Services

The Application may integrate third-party services that process certain information under their own privacy policies. Services used may include the following, where enabled in the published version:

These providers may process information such as device identifiers, advertising identifiers, app activity, diagnostics, or delivery data, according to their own policies and configuration.

Review the relevant third-party privacy policies to understand their practices. Only services actually included and enabled in the Application should be listed here.

4. Advertising and Analytics

The Application may display advertisements and use analytics tools to understand usage and improve stability. Depending on the configuration and your device settings, advertising providers may use device or advertising identifiers and related information to deliver, measure, or personalize ads where permitted.

You can review available advertising and privacy controls in your device settings and through the relevant service provider. Some advertising and analytics processing may be governed by the provider’s own privacy policy and consent tools.

5. Disclosure of Information

The Service Provider does not sell personal information as part of the Application’s ordinary operation. Information may be disclosed when reasonably necessary in the following circumstances:

  • To comply with applicable laws, legal obligations, or valid legal processes.
  • To investigate suspected fraud, security issues, or misuse of the Application.
  • To protect the rights, property, or safety of users, the Service Provider, or others.
  • To service providers that support the Application and process information on the Service Provider’s behalf.

Any sharing depends on the information involved, the purpose of the processing, applicable law, and the configuration of the Application.

6. Your Choices and Opt-Out Rights

You may stop further collection of information by uninstalling the Application through your device’s standard uninstall process.

You may also be able to manage permissions, advertising preferences, notification settings, or other privacy choices through your device settings and the relevant third-party services.

Uninstalling the Application does not automatically delete information that may already have been collected or retained by the Service Provider or third-party providers.

7. Data Retention and Deletion

Information is retained only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, including providing the service, meeting legal obligations, resolving disputes, and enforcing agreements. Retention periods may vary depending on the type of information and the service provider involved.

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information held by the Service Provider, subject to applicable law and any necessary verification.

To submit a request, contact: support@dksoftwaresolution.in

Information held independently by third-party providers may need to be managed through those providers’ own privacy request processes.

8. Children's Privacy

The Service Provider does not knowingly collect personal information directly from children in violation of applicable privacy laws. The Application is not intended to collect personal information from children under 13 without any consent or safeguards required by law.

If you are a parent or guardian and believe that a child has provided personal information to the Service Provider, please contact us. We will review the request and take appropriate steps where required.

Because the Application creates birthday videos and may appeal to different age groups, its intended audience, advertising configuration, and any applicable child-directed app requirements should be reviewed carefully before publication.

9. Security

The Service Provider uses reasonable safeguards designed to protect information processed through the Application. However, no electronic storage or transmission method can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

10. Music and Audio Attribution

Music used in the Application may be sourced from Pixabay: https://pixabay.com.

Use of music and audio assets is subject to the applicable content license and any conditions that apply to the specific asset. Check the license terms for individual tracks where needed.

11. Icons and Graphics Attribution

Some icons or graphical assets used in the Application may be sourced from Flaticon: https://www.flaticon.com.

Such assets are used subject to the license terms applicable to each asset. Attribution is provided where required by the relevant license.

12. Changes to This Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time to reflect changes in the Application, service providers, legal requirements, or data handling practices. The updated policy will be published on this page with a revised effective date where appropriate.

Please review this page periodically to stay informed about how information is handled.

13. Your Consent

By using the Application, you acknowledge this Privacy Policy. Where consent is legally required for a particular type of data processing, the relevant consent will be requested separately as applicable.
